Summer Jobs for Youth

As a part of the nation’s economic stimulus efforts, Workforce Solutions will be
offering summer jobs for qualified young people throughout our 13-county
service region. Youth ranging in age from 14 to 24 from low-income families
are eligible to apply.

An individual from a low-income family who is interested in applying for a job
opportunity must register and establish her/his eligibility. You can go to any of
the Workforce Solutions career offices during regular business hours Monday –
Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., or to designated offices during special evening
and Saturday registration events, or to community locations. Follow this link:

For young people who are not eligible for this particular service, Workforce
Solutions can help you find a summer job with local employers. Visit any office
of Workforce Solutions during regular office hours and speak with an
employment counselor.
